Dr. Lamprini Markaki was born and raised in Heraklion of Crete.

She completed her studies in Medicine at the University of Crete, as well as her postgraduate degree in “Emergencies and Intensive Care in Children, Adolescents and Young Adults» at the same University.

She worked as a Rural Doctor at the General Hospital-Community Health Center of Sitia.

During her residency in Pediatrics she was trained at the following hospitals: Hôpital «René Dubos» και Centre hospitalier intercommunal de Poissy-Saint-Germain-en-Laye in France, General Hospital-Community Health Center of Sitia and General Children’s Hospital “Agia Sofia” in Greece.

She is a certified provider of Neonatal Life Support and Advanced Pediatric Life Support.
