Dr Meropi Toumba is a clinician in Paediatrics and Paediatric Endocrinology.

She received her MD from Medical School of Aristotelion University in Thessaloniki, Greece. She was trained in Paediatrics at Hippokration General Hospital, Aristotelion University in Thessaloniki, Greece. She was awarded with the ESPE Clinical Fellowship, and she was trained in Paediatric Endocrinology at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children and University Colleague of London Hospital in London, UK.

She deals with patients of various endocrine problems. She has a special interest in children with puberty and growth disorders, children born SGA -especially in Russell Silver Syndrome- and long-term complications, obesity, diabetes, thyroid diseases, hyperandrogenism in children and adolescents-PCOS, post radiotherapy and chemotherapy endocrine complications, skeletal disorders, and endocrine complications in thalassaemia and other haemoglobinopathies

Dr Toumba has a significant publication record in Paediatric Endocrinology and has participated in various research projects, paediatric endocrine seminars, and conferences with both scientific abstracts and as a speaker. She has been involved in various research projects and has been selected as reviewer in several journals in the areas of endocrinology.
